moonlight streaking
barenaked bodies,
disheveled sheets,
expurgated memories
an allegory of lust
sailing, fleeting —
across miles and cities
it was the trail of
someone’s cigarette
and the remains
of its butt
wailing inside my cranium
these are my flowers
with delicate petals
riven
someone sipped it slowly
reaching the vulva’s
hidden tip
the twilight river formed
patterns of psychedelic skies
as the frisky currents
devour me, unwillingly
my masks withered
i, recollected
absinthal taste of liquor
i, i, recalled
anamorphic thoughts
i, i, i, am trying to remember
but i couldn’t….
